A event designed to promote the integration of Guangxi's tourism sector was held from May 29 to 31 in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, with the additional aim of boosting Guangxi's cultural tourism products, travel routes and local delicacies.

Representatives from 383 cultural tourism companies, organizations and tourism associations from 100 counties, municipals and districts attended the event.

It is expected that Guangxi's cultural tourism consumption will be further boosted and rural revitalization will be moved forward as part of the high-quality development of the region.

Guilin launched nine high-quality travel routes with a focus on local "red revolutionary culture".

Integrated development concepts that combines red culture with tourist attractions, green industry, rural tourism and local industries have been applied when designing these nine routes.
