The Guangxi-ASEAN Sports Industrial Resources Trading Platform was launched on Aug 19, being the first of its kind in China to focus on the sports industry facing ASEAN.
The platform was established by Beibu Gulf Equity Exchange Group under the guidance of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the General Administration of Sport of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The platform will provide services covering property and stock equity transfers, competition hosting rights, business development rights, competition television broadcasting rights, as well as new media copyright for sports departments, associations, enterprises, and traders from home and abroad, especially those from ASEAN countries. Supporting services, including sports event management, training, and industrial information releases, will also be available.
It will carry out close matchmaking activities aligned with national regional development strategies, such as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Economic Belt, to establish a unified sports resource trading market, providing convenient and efficient service.
In recent years, Guangxi sports departments has been devoting continuous efforts in promoting the high-quality development of the sports industry, such as making innovations in financial loan support, optimizing business environments, and attracting more investment.
The region has been holding the China-ASEAN Sports Tourism Carnival for two years and this year's event will be included in the 19th China-ASEAN Expo for the first time.
