Sanniangwan facing Beibu Gulf in the south of China is the hometown of Chinese white dolphins. In the early years, the weak awareness of fishermen put Chinese white dolphins in danger for survival for a time. Currently, joint efforts of multiple parties have pushed the year-by-year increase in the number of Chinese white dolphins at Sanniangwan, from less than 100 in 2004 to over 300 at present. Chinese white dolphins freely swim in the blue sea or jump near fish boats, which is the best example of harmony between man and nature.
