China and Laos agreed to hold the third border defense friendship exchange at the end of November, a spokesman for the Ministry of National Defense said on Thursday.

This activity aims to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two parties, countries, and armies, promote the in-depth development of traditional friendship between both sides, strengthen strategic mutual trust and border defense cooperation between the two armies, and jointly maintain peace and stability in the border area, ministry spokesperson Senior Colonel Wu Qian said at a press release.
