On February 1, 2023, the sound of firecrackers awakened the sleeping winter in Binyang County, Guangxi Province, marking the start of the Chinese New Year.
With a history of more than a thousand years, the Firecracker Dragon Festival in Binyang County is observed on the 11th day of the first lunar month every year and has been listed as a national intangible cultural heritage. It is introduced by AFP as the carnival exclusive to China. This year, 58 firecracker dragons danced passionately in Binzhou Town, presenting a spectacular and lively scene. Many visitors come to join the carnival and pray together.
