February 5 is the Lantern Festival celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month in the Chinese lunisolar calendar. At 10 a.m., the 2023 Dongxing, China—Mong Cai, Vietnam Friendly Football Match at Lantern Festival will kick off in Dongxing Stadium, China.
The match was initiated in 1993 as a way for border residents to celebrate the festival.
