A series of winter events aiming to encourage more people with disabilities to discover the joys of winter sports was launched on Feb 7 at Guilin Tianhu-Snow World Ski Resort.
Organized by the Guangxi Disabled Persons' Federation, the event attracted more than 100 representatives of physically disabled people, hearing disabled people, and volunteers in Guangxi to try out interesting activities like skiing, tug-of-war on the snow, as well as snowman building.

The Guangxi Disabled Persons' Federation has been holding a variety of sports events for people with disabilities in recent years to provide them enriching sports experiences. It has been devoting great efforts to promoting winter sports that can adapt to the geographical characteristics in South China.
Of note, this year's winter event series will last until the end of March, with other activities like knowledge competitions, as well as online and on-site lectures will be available.
