On the morning of February 7, Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, welcomed 125 Chinese tourists. As the first large-scale Chinese tourists to Phnom Penh after China further optimized its entry-exit policies, they were welcomed with a water cannon salute.
All tourism practitioners across the country are allowed to receive the yuan directly in a bid to attract more Chinese tourists, said Thong Khon, Cambodia's Ministry of Tourism.
