The Secretary of the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) with Ka Wah Financial Investment on Feb 16 in Nanning, capital city of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
According to the MoC, the two sides will make full use of the summit to expand cooperation in economy, trade and investment between China and ASEAN and RCEP member countries in supply chain logistics and finance, structural fund investment, bulk trade, and investment and construction of domestic and overseas parks.
Moreover, Ka Wah Financial Investment will provide financial support for Guangxi enterprises and make contributions to the high-quality development of the region's economy.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, the company was founded by Chinese living in Hong Kong, Macao and other overseas areas and has managed various businesses in such areas as international financial investment, parent funds for sci-tech innovation, intelligent agriculture, tourism, and real estate.
In recent years, it has been actively supporting economic and social development on the Chinese mainland, as well as striving to introduce foreign capital for major infrastructure, cultural and tourism projects, in addition to those aimed at boosting rural vitalization.
