Dongxing city in China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is located on the China-Vietnam border.
It has seen reinvigorating tourism as many tourists choose to start their outbound journeys here.
China allowed travel agencies and online tourism services providers to offer group tours to a second list of 40 destinations earlier this month. Vietnam is on the list.
Meanwhile, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, China's visa authorities abroad have resumed issuance of all categories of visas to foreigners to further facilitate cross-border travel.
