In the face of the strategic opportunity of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor in recent years, China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park (CMQIP) takes active steps to promote the cooperation and exchanges of "Two Countries, Twin Parks", marking a critical time to create a new development pattern of "dual-circulation" between domestic and international economic flows. By the end of 2022, CMQIP has developed a development area totaling 30 square kilometers, allowing 200 projects to settle down through contracts with an agreed investment exceeding RMB 260 billion.

There are 12 Malaysian enterprises registered in CMQIP, mainly engaged in food processing and trade of ASEAN characteristic products.

Since then, China's first pattern of "Two Countries, Twin Parks" has been set through which to promote international capacity cooperation, marking the establishment of the "Cooperative Flagship Project Co-invested by China and Malaysia" and the "China-ASEAN Cooperation Demonstration Zone". CMQIP has now made remarkable achievements in development, with regional GDP exceeding RMB 22 billion in total, foreign trade reaching RMB 24.81 billion, over 25,000 registered enterprises, and financial innovation pilot business exceeding RMB 20 billion.
