The 20th China-ASEAN Expo Roadshow (Singapore) took place in Singapore from April 4 to 5, attracting 49 Guangxi enterprises and over 200 purchasers to carry out face-to-face exchanges in areas of agricultural and food products, new energy, legal and medical services, and project investment.
Through CAEXPO, cooperation intentions worth $145.86 million were achieved as of April 5. Distinctive Guangxi products such as Wuzhou Liubao tea, Hengzhou jasmine tea, fruit, prefabricated dishes, and new energy vehicles were also well received.
Industrial matchmaking events for food, tea and new energy were also held, inviting Singapore's top 50 supermarkets, business associations and industrial giants. Guangxi enterprises also carried out on-site business visits to sites such as Temasek Holdings and Singapore Changi International Airport.
Lim Ming Yan, chairman of the Singapore Business Federation, noted that the federation has been leading Singaporean enterprises to attend CAEXPO for 18 consecutive years, and more than 500 enterprises are participating in various kinds of CAEXPO business events.
He put forward that Singaporean enterprises should make full use of CAEXPO to enhance cooperation with Chinese entrepreneurs and to explore bigger markets.
Of note, such roadshows will also be held in Laos and Malaysia.
