At present, it is the peak season for importing Southeast Asian fruits such as Vietnamese durians and Thai mangosteens. The Pingxiang Youyiguan Port  is now bustling with frequent and heavy cross-border traffic, as vehicles loaded with imported fruits flow in and out regularly.

Since the RCEP came into effect, eight new fruit varieties of ASEAN have been allowed entry into China, including Cambodian longans and Vietnamese durians. As the approved varieties of imported fruits continue to increase, the volume of imported fruits in Guangxi has grown up significantly. In this process, the Youyiguan Port serves as the main channel for the import of durians, and has seen an influx of Vietnamese durians since being authorized for import, with 72,000 tons and a value of RMB 2.38 billion of Vietnamese durians imported via the Youyiguan Port.

The Youyiguan Port Customs has set up a special channel for imported fruits and established a "center + site" rapid screening and identification mechanism to further shorten the time fruits stay at the Customs, ensuring quick clearance of imported fruits. Since the implementation of RCEP, a total of 538,000 tons of ASEAN fruits have been imported through the Youyiguan Port, with a total value of RMB 11.58 billion.
