On June 29, Flight AK156 landed at Guilin Liangjiang International Airport, which marked the official resumption of the Kuala Lumpur-Guilin-Kuala Lumpur direct flight. This route is the first international route resumed in Guilin, Guangxi after the COVID-19 response measures. The reopening of this route also marks the resumption of the city"s six-day visa-free policy for tourist groups from 10 ASEAN countries.
At present, the implementation plan of this route is as follows: one flight on June 29; one flight every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from July 18 to September 2; one flight every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from September 4 to October 28. The flight number is AK156/AK157 and the flight departs from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 7:20 and arrives at Guilin Liangjiang International Airport at 11:20; it departs from Guilin Liangjiang International Airport at 12:05 and arrives at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 16:15.
