On July 10, China Southern Airlines flight CZ5057 successfully departed from Nanning Wuxu International Airport, marking the official resumption of the Nanning–Bangkok route by China Southern Airlines.

This reinstated passenger route is the first direct connection to Southeast Asia by China Southern Airlines Guangxi Branch in three years. The flight accommodated 147 passengers.

From July 10 to 31, China Southern Airlines will operate flights between Nanning and Don Mueang Airport, Bangkok on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The outbound flight is designated as CZ5057, while the return flight is CZ5058. Starting from August 1, China Southern Airlines will operate flights between Nanning and Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The outbound flight is designated as CZ8427, while the return flight is CZ8428.

The resumption of the non-stop routes between Nanning and Bangkok by China Southern Airlines significantly enhances the travel experience for passengers traveling between these two cities. This will facilitate closer exchanges and cooperation between Guangxi and Southeast Asia in various domains, including economy, culture, and tourism.
