On the evening of July 14, the world"s first hydrogen-powered smart tram independently developed by CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co., Ltd. was successfully shipped from Zhuzhou, Hunan Province. It will depart from Shanghai Port to Malaysia, which is to be the first smart tram delivered to Southeast Asia. This smart tram will be used for urban transportation services in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. It is the first smart tram to adopt a hydrogen-powered propulsion system, which has the advantages of a longer driving range, shorter refueling time, low carbon emissions, high energy efficiency, and environmental friendliness.
