On July 26, the "Ha Festival," a traditional festival of the Jing ethnic group, was celebrated in Wanwei Island, Jiangping Town, Dongxing City, Fangchenggang City, Guangxi Province.  Border residents and tourists from China and Vietnam gathered together to enjoy the grand feast. Jing people, dressed in ethnic costumes, sang and danced happily and enjoyed a gathering in Hating, or Ha Pavilion. They sang Ha, played Duxianqin, a traditional plucked string instrument with only one string of the Jing ethnic group, caught fish, fished on stilts, etc. to celebrate the grandest traditional festival of their ethnic group.

The Jing ethnic group is the only coastal ethnic group in China, mainly residing on the Wanwei, Shanxin, and Wutou islands under the jurisdiction of Dongxing in Fangchenggang. Ha Festival is one of the first batches of intangible cultural heritages in China. The Jing people in China and main ethnic groups in Vietnam share similar languages and customs. During the annual Ha Festival, the Jing people and the people of Vietnam"s Mong Cai will visit each other and exchange goodwill. In 2006, the "Ha Festival" was added to China's national list of intangible cultural heritage.
