On Aug 15, China's first National Ecological Day, Hechi organized a series of promotional activities in Yizhou district. The theme of this event was "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", and it attracted a large number of participants.

At the event, participating municipal departments and companies showcased the city's ecological environment protection achievements since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012. They did so by screening public service advertisements, setting up exhibition boards, hanging banners, distributing promotional materials and setting up consultation desks.

These various methods of communication raised awareness and spread knowledge among the public. The aim of this event was to encourage and guide the public to participate in ecological environment protection.

On the same day, the city also organized a voluntary service promotion team to carry out voluntary ecological environment promotion activities at companies such as Guangxi Wanwei Biomass Technology and Guangxi Jialian Silk.
