Two suspects involved in telecom fraud cases in Myanmar were handed over to the Chinese police by its Myanmar counterpart at the Yangon International Airport on Wednesday morning, according to the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar.
This is the second batch of telecom fraud suspects returning to China after six suspects were sent back to China under escort in June.
One of the two suspects is the head of a gambling and fraud gang.
China, Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos held a meeting in Thailand"s Chiang Mai a few days ago to initiate a special joint operation to attack gambling and fraud, as well as human trafficking, kidnapping, illegal detention and other crimes.
