On September 4, the Smart China Expo, also known as the "SCE", opened in Chongqing. As part of the series of events, the China-Singapore International Digital Cooperation Forum 2023 took place at the Xiantao International Big Data Valley in Yubei District on the same day.

During the forum, cooperation agreements have been signed for 15 China-Singapore digital cooperation projects, which cover various sectors such as finance, education, healthcare, aviation, blockchain, and cultural tourism. Besides, the China-Singapore Digital Economy Talent Development Center  was launched. The center will leverage the China-Singapore International Data Channel to cultivate internationally-oriented digital economy talents in key industries such as electronic information, artificial intelligence, digital content services, and cross-border digital trade, meeting the demands of enterprises from China, Singapore, and other countries along the "Belt and Road".
