Huawei started selling its Mate 60 series phones last week, attracting consumers' eyes. On Tuesday evening, many Huawei retail stores in Beijing, capital city of China, were still crowded with customers. According to the staff from the store, most of the customers came for the new Mate 60 phone.
"From the sale on August 29 to today, hundreds of customers have been coming to the store every day to make inquiries, and there are more than 200 customers who have paid the deposit and are ready to pick up the phone," said Liu Meng, a staff member from a Huawei retail store in Beijing.
Many customers thought that the launch of the Huawei Mate 60 series phones marked the new progress of China mobile phone brand.
"I don't think sanctions from some countries will affect the development of mobile phones in China," said customer Mr Li. "I still have great confidence in the development of China mobile phone brands."
