Driven by the 19th Asian Games, the sports goods market at the Yiwu International Trade City in Zhejiang Province is bustling.

"The opening of the Games is getting closer, and I want to seize the opportunity to purchase some sports goods to send back home," said Fei Long, a Uzbek businessman visiting the third district in the market.

"What is the price of this jersey? Do you have matching pants?" asked Fei. "Can we have the name of our country and city printed on it? I'm going to order 10,000 jerseys. Are they in stock?"

The district boasts nearly 700 shops selling sports goods, including footballs, volleyballs, table tennis rackets, boxing gloves, trophies and derivative products.

Wen Congjian has been dedicated to the sporting goods industry for 16 years. As the Hangzhou Asian Games draws near, he obviously sensed an uptick in business.

Most of hisorderscame from Europe and the United States. Recently, however, orders from Asia and China have been growing rapidly, with a increase of about three times.

"We will adjust production according to customer and game schedule demand," he said.

The 19th Aisan Games are scheduled to open in Hangzhou on Sept. 23 and close on Oct. 8.
