During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday from September 29 to October 6, a total of 28,670 outbound and inbound travelers were inspected and discharged at Mohan Highway Port on the China-Laos border, up by 8.3% week on week and 394% year on year. A total of 3,706 outbound and inbound travelers were inspected and discharged at Mohan Port on the China-Laos Railway, and the figure was basically the same as that in the previous week.
Located in Mengla County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture , Yunnan Province, Mohan Port is connected with Boten Port in Laos. The China-Laos Railway directly leads to Vientiane, Laos via the port, and the highway stretches southward to reach Bangkok, Thailand from here. It is an important national-level land port between China and Southeast Asian countries such as Laos. (Bo)
