The China-ASEAN Logistics Industry Matchmaking Base was unveiled in Banan District, Chongqing on December 18. The base will fully play its role as a matchmaking platform to promote pragmatic cooperation between Chongqing and ASEAN countries, facilitate trade investment and industrial development, and further expand the international influence of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.

On the same day, Chongqing Highway Logistics Base signed strategic cooperation agreements with Vietnam Logistics Business Association, Cambodia Logistic Association and Federation of Malaysian Freight Forwarders.

The 2023 China (Chongqing)-ASEAN Logistics Industry Cooperation Conference was also held concurrently. Nearly 40 political and business representatives from ASEAN countries such as Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, the Philippines, and Myanmar exchanged ideas to seek common industrial development.
