On the morning of May 28, with the departure of a passenger vehicle with license plate number Guangxi ABH852 from the Fengling Bus Station in Nanning, Guangxi, and its exit through the Dongxing Port (Second Bridge), the resumption of international passenger vehicle clearance at Dongxing Port was officially announced after several years.

This is a trial operation of the international direct passenger transportation route between Nanning, China, and Hạ Long, Vietnam. The entire route covers approximately 368 kilometers, with a travel time of about five hours. After completing the customs clearance procedures, international passenger vehicles and passengers can directly cross the border through Dongxing Port (Second Bridge), enjoying efficient and convenient cross-border direct transportation services without transfers. This lays a solid foundation for the future resumption of irregular international direct passenger transportation between Nanning, China, and Hạ Long, Vietnam.
