The third domestically-developed jetliner ARJ21 delivered by China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) to Indonesia"s TransNusa arrived in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, on the evening of May 31. This marks the first RMB cross-border settlement transaction for a domestic aircraft. According to CALC, the aircraft was delivered to TransNusa through leasing. In this project, CALC adopted the RMB settlement for both the procurement and lease, with the leasing payments being settled through the cooperation between the Chinese financial institutions at home and abroad.
