Recently, the 2024 National Dragon Boat Linkage and the 2024 Nanning Dragon Boat Open were held in the waters near Minsheng Wharf. More than 1,000 athletes from 52 teams participated in the event and staged a visual feast of “sports+festival+tourism+culture” for citizens and tourists.

The dragon boat on the river broke the waves and rowed towards the finish line, the audience area suddenly pumped up, and enthusiastic competitions of dragon boat racing were staged. While the dragon boats in the river were racing, the spectators on both sides of the bank shouted and cheered, and the passion in the water and the enthusiasm on the shore collided with each other. After a day of competition, all the champions of events were produced. Among them, the champion of the 22-person dragon boat 300-meter straight race in the open group was the men’s dragon boat team of Guangxi University for Nationalities.
