"The Action Plan for Accelerating the Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Sector in Guangxi to Support the Development of New Industrialization (2024-2026)" (referred to as "The Action Plan") recently published seeks to drive the development of the industrial Internet, advance the intelligent and digital transformation and web union of manufacturing sector, and accelerate the development of new productive forces, thereby facilitating the new industrialization of Guangxi.

According to reports, various contents of "The Action Plan" are closely bound up with Nanning. For instance, in the aspect of constructing pilot cities for digital transformation, Guangxi is set to support Nanning to become a "pilot city for digital transformation among small and medium-sized enterprises". This entails catalyzing the digitalization transformation of over 300 pioneering enterprises spanning six distinct sectors, including new-energy vehicles, automotive components, and advanced aluminum processing, and elevating the ratio of over-level-two digitalization of Nanning’s enterprises above designated size to surpass 90%.
