Recently, the Guangxi Suanye (Pickled Fruit Salad) Beijing Promotional Event was held for the first time at the general office of China Daily. Over 100 people attended the event, including representatives from Beijing Guangxi Hotel, Guangxi’s eight pickled fruit companies, four Beijing companies, and international students.

In 2024, Guangxi's orchard fruit production exceeded 33 million tons, with bananas and dragon fruits ranking first in the country. This abundant fruit resource provides ideal ingredients for pickled fruits, making them a unique local snack of Guangxi. The event featured five functional exhibition areas, including a tasting area of Guangxi’s pickled fruits and a company display area. Inheritors of Guangxi's pickled fruits cultural heritage introduced the history and production techniques of the snack, while guests tasted the unique flavors, participated in the making process, and learned about Guangxi's diverse fruits, fostering lively exchanges. Next, supporting activities will also be held to promote the establishment of Guangxi’s pickled fruits chain stores in Beijing.
