This June marks the first anniversary since “Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement” (RCEP) came into full effect.

It is learned that over the past year, Nanning Area of China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone has made significant strides in institutional innovation, industrial integration and investment cooperation. Specifically, it has focused on exploring and innovating in key areas such as productive service industries, trade and investment, and has been recognized as one of the first demonstration zones in Guangxi for high-quality implementation of RCEP projects (in productive service industries), providing strong support for the high-quality development of industries. Additionally, it has enhanced the “one-stop” service level of foreign investment service centers. Nanning Area has deepened its cooperation under RCEP with ASEAN countries, and creatively adopted a construction model combining customs, governments and state-owned enterprises, which would further promote higher-level and deeper opening-up and cooperation. In the first quarter of this year, Yongzhou Customs issued a total of 187 RCEP certificates of origin, achieving a total value of about 71 million yuan, with both numbers ranking among the top in Guangxi.
