Recently, the gravity wharf of Xinfu Water Comprehensive Service Area, the first water service area of the Pinglu Canal project, was successfully completed.

It is reported that the gravity wharf of Xinfu Water Comprehensive Service Area is 560 meters long and is located on the right bank of the channel about 1.1 kilometers away from the upstream of Xinfu Town, Hengzhou City, covering an area of about 39,000 square meters. It is worth mentioning that as the only water “supply station” in the Nanning section of the Pinglu Canal, there are three 5,000-ton berths, one 5,000-ton refueling berth, and three working ship berths, including buoy tenders, channel survey working ships, and working boats. After completion, it will provide waterway management, ship crew services, living supplies and other functions, which is of great significance to ensure the efficient operation and service management for the Pinglu Canal in the later stage.
