Recently, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fully loaded with cargo slowly ascended from Sankee Plaza in Qingxiu District, Nanning City, and landed accurately along the established route to complete the delivery.
It is reported that the first low-altitude UAV logistics transportation route in Guangxi successfully completed its maiden flight. The route is developed by Guangxi Computing Center Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guangxi Communication Investment Group, including the line of "Guangxi Communication Investment Group Liulu Base - San'an Service Area" and the line of "Sankee Plaza of Qingxiu District - San'an Service Area". The maiden flight route is the round trip from "Guangxi Communication Investment Group Liulu Base to Sankee Plaza, Qingxiu District", covering a one-way flight distance of approximately 20 kilometers at an altitude of some 200-300 meters. Low-altitude logistics represents a new business model combining "low-altitude economy and logistics", known for its advantages such as speediness, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. It is gradually changing traditional logistics patterns and becoming a crucial direction for the logistics industry's automation and intelligent development.
