Recently, the first pier of Qishi Lock Sluice Gate of Pinglu Canal was successfully capped, laying a solid foundation for accelerating the realization of the diversion in the second phase of the sluice gate.
According to reports, in order to ensure the project quality and accelerate construction efficiency, the construction management team comprised of participating units, such as Pinglu Canal Group, Changjiang Institute of Survey, Planning, Design and Research, and Jiangsu Kexing Project Management Co., Ltd., has repeatedly demonstrated and optimized construction plans. They have employed custom-made steel formwork for the sluice gate pier body and steel structure bracket concrete pouring construction technology, guaranteeing the precision of every rebar, formwork, and embedded part at the millimeter level. They enforce strict control over each construction and inspection step, strictly implement standardized safety protection management, refine various risk control requirements, and continually enhance safety measures. The construction management team of Pinglu Canal is expediting the pier construction of Qishi Lock Sluice Gate, aiming to cap all piers by the end of September this year.
