On July 16, the Royal Gazette"s website published an announcement from the Thai Ministry of Interior. According to the announcement, Thailand will allow visa-free entry for passport holders or those holding alternative passport documents from 93 countries and territories who visit the country for short-term tourism, business, or work, permitting them to stay for up to 60 days per visit. 

China (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) is included in the list, which means that Chinese citizens (including those of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) can enter Thailand visa-free for a single stay of up to 60 days. The announcement has come into force since July 15, 2024. (Bo)
