Nanning Airport, as a national first-class aviation port, plays a pivotal role as a gateway for Nanning’s opening-up, progressively establishing itself as an aerial corridor for ASEAN specialty products entering the Chinese market. So far, there are 15 international freight routes in operation, connecting to six ASEAN countries and four countries in South Asia.

It is reported that since the introduction of the airside transfer center at Nanning Airport, the transit time for goods has been reduced by more than 4 hours, achieving seamless connection for international and domestic cargo shipping. Additionally, innovative regulatory models such as the “two-stage access” system implemented since March 14th have significantly enhanced customs clearance efficiency. By June 30th, Nanning Airport had imported 332.9 tons of fresh frozen goods, marking a 790% year-on-year increase. With the continuous improvement of customs facilitation, an increasing volume of goods from China and ASEAN countries are now being transferred through Nanning, providing robust support for the high-quality development of foreign trade in Nanning City.
