Recently, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangxi Committee and the visiting Italy-China Trade Development Promotion Council held an economic and trade exchange meeting in Nanning, with nearly 40 representatives from Chinese and foreign enterprises attending.

It is reported that Guangxi has complementary industries with Italy in many sectors. The vice president of CCPIT Guangxi Committee and the Guangxi International Chamber of Commerce hoped to work with the Italy-China Trade Development Promotion Council to provide a high-quality economic and trade cooperation platform for enterprises from both sides. They also aimed to strengthen pragmatic cooperation in new energy, manufacturing, and tourism, actively promote exchanges between international sister cities and civil friendly organizations, and expand cultural exchanges between Guangxi and Italy. During the meeting, other members of the Italy-China Trade Development Promotion Council and representatives of Guangxi enterprises introduced their respective business areas and reached preliminary cooperation agreements, laying the foundation for future cooperation.
