Recently, it was learned that the township-level competition of the 8th Guangxi Wancun Basketball Games (“Jianzhi Sports Cup”) has basically completed, with a total of 9,502 events held and 6,253 teams participating in.

It is reported that the Games was divided into four stages: township-level competition, county-level competition, city-level competition and finals. The township-level competition has been held in the towns under the jurisdiction of districts and cities from February to June, and the champion team qualified for the county-level competition; the county-level competition was held in each county (or county-level city and district) from July to August, and the champion team qualified for the city-level competition; the city-level competition will be held in each city with subordinate districts from September to October, and the champion team will qualify for the finals; the finals will be held in Quanzhou County, Guilin, in November. By the end of June, more than 83,000 athletes had participated in the Games, and more than 24.77 million people had watched the Games online and on site.
