Recently, at a demonstration and technical training session for new varieties of passion fruit in Nanning, it was announced that Nanning has developed a new variety of passion fruit called “Jindu No. 7”.

It is understood that this variety possess both the fragrance of “Jindu No. 3” passion fruit and the sweetness of the “Golden” passion fruit, producing fruits the size of an adult man’s fist, achieving significant yields with 200 mu of demonstrative plantation. During the training session, participants visited the orchards to observe the growth and fruiting of the "Jindu No. 7" passion fruit, learning about planting costs, key cultivation techniques, and current market sales trends. Experts discussed the demonstrative plantation in terms of the variety and major disease control, as well as the regional adaptability and integrated water and fertilizer advantages of the "Jindu No. 7" passion fruit. This aimed to help more farmers understand the new variety, promote wider cultivation, and turn it into a new industry for wealth creation.
