It has been learned recently that Nanning Taihe Company, in cooperation with DiDi, will launch Guangxi’s first route for the “station-based bus” - D270 from Nanningdong Railway Station to Wuming University City. During the trial period from August 9 to 31, the discounted fare is capped at just 12 yuan. This initiative aims to meet the travel needs of residents and tourists between Nanning and Wuming District.
The “station-based bus”, which adopts a novel digitalized model for customized public transportation, marks the launching of Guangxi’s inaugural demonstration route. It integrates passenger transport enterprises with Internet platforms specializing in traveling to offer intercity transport services. The route includes 10 stops, features multiple departures, and covers a one-way journey in approximately 1.5 hours. During the trial period, passengers can benefit from a 40% discount for the entire route. Citizens and tourists can purchase tickets, board buses at nearby stations, and access real-time updates on vehicle locations and arrival times via the WeChat official account of “Taihe Smart Travel” and the WeChat mini program of DiDi.
