The Department of Land and Resources of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has recently issued “The Implementation Decision on Deepening the Advancement of Rural Real Estate Registration and Certification” (hereinafter referred to as “The Implementation Decision”), which required departments at all levels to thoroughly promote the overall registration and certification of rural real estate within approximately five years, establishing an efficient, convenient, and satisfactory rural real estate registration system for the public.

It is reported that “The Implementation Decision” specifically outlines the ongoing promotion of updating and applying the results of collective land ownership certification and registration. Local authorities are required to promptly process the cancellation or alteration of collective land ownership registration for land parcels that have been lawfully acquired. In addition, coordinated efforts shall be made to advance the certification and registration of contract management rights of land. “The Implementation Decision” makes it clear that by the end of this year, all regions must fully complete the sharing of existing registration archives of contract management rights of land, the results of registration databases, and the integration and establishment of registration data.
