Recently, the Thailand Shopping Festival, organized by the Commercial Department of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Thailand in Nanning, was launched at The MIXC from August 24th to 30th. During this period, hundreds of kinds of Thai products arrived at the Olé store in The MIXC and a series of promotional activities were held.
It is reported that the organizer set up an on-site Thailand boutique area to display specialized Thai foods such as Thai fragrant rice, as well as high-quality fruits originating from Thailand such as durians, mangosteen and longans, attracting many citizens to inquire and purchase. The organizer also invited Thai chefs to cook Thai cuisine and Thai artists to sing and dance on the spot. This event aims at promoting Thai products, especially durians, coconuts, fragrant rice, and snacks that are highly favored by Chinese consumers, further expanding the market share of Thai goods in China, facilitating the development of bilateral trade relations, and strengthening cooperation between China and Thailand.
