The event of the First China Xinjiang Folk Art Festival has recently been held at the Urumqi Cultural Center. At the exhibition, Guangxi hosted the cultural and tourism products and intangible cultural heritage food market for 2024 themed with "Gifts and Delicacies from Guangxi", which was well received by local Xinjiang residents and visitors from all around.

It is reported that as the beautiful melody of the Dong ethnic group’s pipa song, "Welcome to Guangxi", began to play, the performances showcasing the embroidery techniques of the Dong and Zhuang ethnic groups drew many spectators to the Guangxi Exhibition Area. Inside the exhibition area, traditional clothing from Guangxi's 12 indigenous ethnic groups was presented through a fashion show. Creative cultural products, including weaving crafts, along with specialty foods like Luosifen (river snail rice noodles) and Suanye (sour fruit), were well received by local people. While enjoying the national clothing shows and tasting Guangxi's intangible cultural heritage delicacies, the audience also participated in quizzes about Guangxi’s culture and tourism.
