On Aug 26, a hundred travel agents from ASEAN countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand gathered in Nanning to discuss cooperation and development, marking the launch of the four-day 2024 "Nihao! China - Discovering Guangxi" 100 ASEAN Travel Agents' Fam Tour in Guangxi.
Guangxi is the only region in China connected to ASEAN by both land and sea, serving as a key gateway for China-ASEAN cooperation and exchanges. Nanning, as a tourism hub located near ASEAN, offers flights with a duration of less than four hours to capital cities of ASEAN countries.
The tour has attracted a hundred ASEAN travel agents as well as overseas new media. Participants will visit scenic spots such as Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area in Nanning, Bama Changshou Island, Nandan Dongtian Jiuhai, and Nandan Mineral Hot Spring Resort.
This four-day trip will help ASEAN travel agents gain a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Guangxi's cultural and tourism offerings. They will bring back what they have seen and heard in Guangxi to their home countries, showcasing Guangxi's historical culture, landscapes, intangible cultural heritage, and unique cuisine to the world in a lively and interesting manner.
By promoting Guangxi's tourism routes and products, they aim to further attract visitors from ASEAN countries and across the globe to explore Guangxi and experience the charm of this magical land.
