Recently, the 2024 China International Fruit Expo commenced at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The Guangxi-ASEAN Featured Fruits Pavilion was bustling with visitors, showcasing the popular "Gui Fruits (Guangxi’s fruits)", which attracted numerous buyers eager to engage in discussions and make deals.

It is reported that over 20 varieties of Guangxi’s fruits and more than 10 varieties of ASEAN fruits were on display in the pavilion, creating a vibrant fruit feast. Guangxi benefits from ample rainfall and sunshine, as well as a diverse geographical range spanning four latitudes, establishing it as a major fruit-growing region and the largest fruit production area in the country. Guangxi is home to nearly 300 types of fruit tree varieties, accounting for 70% of the country’s fruit tree species. In 2023, the total fruit output reached 32 million tons, maintaining the top position in the country for six consecutive years, with a production value exceeding 180 billion yuan. At the expo, a variety of Suanye (pickled fruits) captivated food lovers from across the country, highlighting the unique allure of Nanning's Suanye.
