Recently, the China-ASEAN Painting and Calligraphy Communicative Exhibition (Vietnam Session) opened in Nanning. This year marks the ASEAN-China Year of People-to-People Exchanges. The event took calligraphy and painting as a medium to promote the expansion of exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in the field of humanities, and to promote closer ties between the people of both sides.

It is reported that during the opening ceremony, representatives from overseas Chinese communities, Chinese and foreign painting and calligraphy artists, and museum experts launched discussions on the art of painting and calligraphy, as well as the cultural exchanges between China and ASEAN countries. The artists painted and wrote at the event, showing the charm of calligraphy and painting. Since this year marks the 74th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, the event showcased 74 pieces of Chinese paintings, Vietnamese lacquer paintings, oil paintings and other works created by Chinese and Vietnamese artists, presenting the exchanges in the art of painting and calligraphy between China and Vietnam. The exhibition has been held at the "Exhibition Hall of Wang Yangming in Guangxi" (located in the "Old Nanning - San Jie Liang Xiang Historical and Cultural Block") and will be open to the public free of charge for one month.
