In the past few days, through the "single window" for the service of international trade, the business person from the NaanDanJain (China) Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd. applied to Yongzhou Customs for the certificate of origin under the China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement for a batch of goods exported to Vietnam, and had it printed successfully through the self-printing service. This was the first certificate of origin under the China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement for goods exported to Vietnam printed through self-printing service.

It is understood that since September 1, the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China has included the certificate of origin to Vietnam under the “Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership” (RCEP) and the certificates of origin to Malaysia and Vietnam under the “Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations” in the scope of self-printing service to further optimize the business environment at ports and facilitate the cross-border trade accordingly. After the scope expansion of self-service printing, the self-service printing rate of certificates of origin issued by the Nanning Customs has reached 99.3%, which could further help improve the efficiency of customs clearance and reduce the trade costs of export goods.
