On October 15, the launch ceremony for China's first cross-border tourism cooperation zone—the China-Vietnam Detian-Ban Gioc Waterfall cross-border tourism cooperation zone—took place in Daxin County, Chongzuo. With the commencement of operations, the daily cap for cross-border visitors will increase from 500 to 1,000, and operating hours will be extended from 5 hours to 6 hours. This cooperation zone implements an innovative face recognition system for permit processing, enabling tourists to authenticate and make reservations through the Guijing Tongban mini-program. From the trial operation, which began on September 15 of last year, until October 10 of this year, the zone has welcomed 1,232 cross-border tour groups and 17,991 visitors. (Bo)
