The first international freight train on the China-Laos Railway "Beijing-Yunnan Lancang-Mekong Line", loaded with bananas from Laos, departed from Wangjiaying West Railway Station in Kunming, Yunnan Province, and headed for Beijing on October 14. This marks the official launch of this train service, opening up an international freight route connecting Beijing and Yunnan in China with Southeast Asian countries. With the launch of this train service, bananas and other tropical fruits produced in Laos will expand their sales in northern China. (Bo)
