Recently, a competition bringing together the special snacks from Guangxi and ASEAN countries kicked off in Yongzhou Ancient Town - San Jie Liang Xiang Historical and Cultural Block, and food culture inheritors and innovators from Guangxi and ASEAN countries participated in the competition with more than 150 special snacks.
It is reported that the categories of entries covered special snacks and intangible cultural heritage snacks from all over Guangxi, special snacks from ASEAN countries, and a variety of finished products and pre-packaged foods made of other raw material, such as rice products. The competition has not only helped carry forward Guangxi’s food culture, strengthened the integration and exchange with ASEAN countries on characteristic cuisine, but also provided a platform for cultural exchanges for all parties. The competition has a wide range of participants, and catering enterprises and food production enterprises with business license in Guangxi, as well as students and catering enterprises from ASEAN countries all can register for the competition.
