From December 11 to 14, Nanning hosted the city promotion event themed with “Welcomes from Nanning to Northern Friends for Experiencing Different Winters” in several cities, including Harbin, Jiamusi, Fuyuan, and Jilin. This event aimed to highlight the complementary strengths and foster win-win development between northern and southern cities, while also enhancing cultural and tourism exchange cooperation on a broader scale, at a deeper level, and with higher standards.

During the promotion event, a captivating video showcased Nanning, making local residents appreciate its unique regional landscapes and harmonious ecological beauty. Innovative programs, such as "Happy Song" combined with Guangxi “Kemusan” Dance, "Folk Songs like Spring River Water", and "Nanning Style", provided an exceptional cultural experience. Nanning’s cultural tourism officials presented a themed promotion entitled "Winter Travel in Nanning", which centered around five themes, namely "Concerts in Nanning", "Study Tours", "Health and Wellness Tours", "Romantic Nights in Nanning", and "Tours Around Nanning".

The city promotion event showcased Nanning's breathtaking natural landscapes, rich ethnic cultures, and unique humanistic charm from various perspectives. Looking ahead, Nanning plans to foster season shift experiencing, promote ethnic integration, and enhance urban partnerships through initiatives such as the exchange of specialty products, cultural and artistic performances, and the development of complementary tourism resources. These efforts aim to create deeper connections between cultural and tourism enterprises from both the northern and southern regions, continuously advancing the high-quality development of the distinctive cultural tourism industry.
